This Caperdonich 1994 is an independent bottling by Taiwanese company Spirits Shop’ Selection. The closed Speyside distillery is no longer producing whisky, but amazing Caperdonich casks still get bottled every now and again, like this one. All of the labels by Spirits Shop’ Selection depict art created by Asian artist. The Taiwanese whisky brand was set up by Eric Huang, one of the foremost whisky experts in Asia and a great whisky collector on top of that. He is a judge in the World Whisky Awards and is chairman of the Taiwan and Hong Kong Single Malt Whisky Association.
